David Marsh Basura Stick Color
David Marsh designs, builds and paints sustainable pine and recycled wood furniture in an uniquely delightful "Marsh style." Working in his Texas studio with a committed team of fellow craftsmen each piece is meticulously crafted and finished. The basura stick "trash" furniture refers to the cedar slats from the Texas hills used in the side and fronts of the furniture and painted in bright multicolored patterns. The wood is hand planed to give a distinctive surface and the sander, aka the quality control person, hand sands after each of three painting with water based lacquer.The rich, deep finishes make the furniture durable and beautiful. The pride and playfulness of David Marsh and his craftsmen comes through with each craftman's signature plus whimsical messages on the back of the furniture.
